James has over 25 years’ experience within the industry. Back in 1992, James attended an Open Day at Suffolk College with the intention to sign on to their Architecture course. It was the Carpentry and Joinery course that grabbed his attention that day though, and after making the decision to sign up to it, he hasn’t looked back since.

Following his college years, James undertook an apprenticeship with one of East Anglia’s leading carpentry contractors, where he developed his trade along with an admirable work ethic. At the age of 23, he became a sub-contractor working for a number of building companies and developers across Suffolk.

James proudly launched JS Kitchens & Carpentry in 2018 and supplies Carpenters and Joiners to developers and domestic clients. James is a creative individual and is passionate about using his knowledge and skills to create concepts. He is approachable, personable and hands on, with a desire to deliver.

At JS Kitchens & Carpentry, James has assembled a team of highly-skilled Carpenters and Joiners that cover Suffolk and surrounding areas. They offer all aspects of Carpentry from roofing to second fix, and work closely with clients at all stages of the project; pre-construction assistance, design development, site coordination and finally the site installation.
